Does it pay to purchase a home with a pool or look for a home inside a community that has a pool within?

Having an in-ground pool on your property adds value to the property and possibly a selling point, if kept in good condition along with updating. The HOA community pools do offer a non maintenance option but, the down side is the community pools are only open during certain hours and months of the year, as well as they offer little privacy. If you know you will enjoy having a private pool and will use it on a regular basis…a heated in-ground pool is a great addition to a property
